在周五, 6月15日, 元素 Financial set out across Indianapolis to 'Paint the Town Red' through a multitude of random acts of kindness. 元素 has been headquartered in Indianapolis since it's founding in 1930 and has become a pillar in the community as a not-for-profit credit union. The team of nearly 200 employees has a strong focus on volunteerism and charitable contributions.

'Paint the Town Red' embodied the 元素 mission of building lifelong relationships, by sending small groups of staff members to areas across downtown Indianapolis to distribute breakfasts to local non-profits, spontaneously buy snacks or coffees for strangers and distribute complimentary 元素 summer swag. These activities were designed to make people's days a little happier — a constant goal of 元素 from staff to credit union members and even within the community. The staff team came back to report many happy receivers — others many noted that the most impactful part of the event was how it felt to be able to give back to the community. 元素 plans to continue giving back in the community for many years into the future, including the upcoming annual Purpose Day — a day of service benefiting many major partner organizations.
